"Land & Power: A Walking Tour of Historic Stagville"

After my MA research on visitor relationships to landscape at public historic sites revealed how site visitors often assume that modern landscapes of historic sites reflect historical realities, I worked with the site manager of Stagville State Historic Site in Durham, North Carolina, to craft a self-guided tour pamphlet highlighting relationships between the landscape of the former plantation and the lives of people enslaved on the plantation.
